JADE is proud to have a staff of dedicated dance teachers who each bring their experience and enthusiasm to our classrooms and students. With years of experience and a love for their art form, we truly have the best group of dance educators and assistants in the area.

At JADE, we offer three different programs to fit different needs.
1. Preschool and Kindergarten Dance Ages 2-6
2. Academy Classes for Elementary, Pre-Teen, and Teens 6 and Older
3. Graded Level Technique Classes for Dancers 8 and Older

Our Mission
Jane's Academy of Dance Excellence was founded in the summer of 2008 by our owner Jane Stewart. Ms. Jane had a vision to fill a void in this area that she had noticed after a decade of teaching, directing, and choreographing locally. That dream was to have a studio that was kid and family-friendly but where students could receive a thorough dance education that would allow them to pursue a career in dance if they wished to do so.
JADE strives to fill that void by finding a balance between hard work, dedication, and fun. We accept students of different backgrounds, abilities, and intentions. It doesn't matter if you've never danced before or if you've studied extensively; we have a program and classes to fill your needs. We believe in working towards excellence but without sacrificing a childhood, and we believe that dance should be accessible to all children.
Dance is so much more than just learning some steps. Learning dance is learning an art form, teamwork, time management, goal setting, rhythm, and agility. Meanwhile, you will physically improve your health, gain confidence, and learn life skills that will last a lifetime.

Our Response to COVID-19
Here at JADE, we take the health of our dancers and staff very seriously. Since the beginning, we have closely monitored local and national reports and have responded quickly and effectively.
We are currently providing in-person classes. We are using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting any classroom. We are thoroughly cleaning surfaces as needed. We are closely monitoring government and state officials’ recommendations.
Our dedicated teachers have continued to monitor their own health and exposure in order to provide the safest environment for our kids, and we provide free masks to anyone who wants one. Jade is thrilled to have a large space to spread out and keep learning.
